This weekend’s pop up party will help satiate Palace fans who have been missing the venue. “The new rent is so high that we’d never survive,” Donall said. The venue had operated for 30 years and was one of the highlights of Ocean Drive tourism, but owner Thomas Donall explained to the Miami Herald that his negotiations with new owners, Infinity Real Estate, were unsuccessful.
